TABLE B - NOTES on DDF_POLICIES

Removed Fields:

Location Information: Country, State and County (former B9/10/11) Since this table contains information for the intersection of a policy with a revenue source, and since the Table A – DDF_REVENUE_SOURCES) contains this information, this information is redundant here and has been removed.

UPR_AMT (former B28)

This field has been dropped and moved to Table E - DDF_REINSURED_DETAILS, see fields E17 and E18.

Fields B1/B2

For "Unit Investment Trust" types of transactions, and any types of transactions where a Policy covers more than one revenue key, there will be multiple rows in this table per policy_num.

There should one row for each unique revenue_key/policy_num combination.

Fields B20 and B21
These fields are now the only representation of capital charge information. If the information is stored in your data model with the revenue source, simply duplicate that information for each policy associated with that revenue source.

Field B22

New York State Contingency Reserve Classification - EXAMPLE

These classifications will have different values in your actual data. However, the codes used should conform in some way to the New York State Law describing Contingency Reserve amounts to be withheld.
